The 40-292 programmable load resistor module provides a simple solution for applications requiring a programmable load resistor with up to 15W power handling.
The 40-292 module is able to simulate the common short circuit and open circuit
conditions that can be experienced in a system due to faulty wiring or sensors. The
short circuit position is fully thermally protected and provides a short circuit
current limit. The series open switch provides an automatic current limit through
the resistor chain and is thermally protected.
